Amalaki Ekadashi is a Hindu festival that is observed on the 11th day of the waxing moon phase (Shukla Paksha) in the Hindu lunar month of Phalguna. This year, it will be observed on Friday, March 3, 2023. It is considered to be one of the most auspicious and significant Ekadashis (the 11th day of the Hindu lunar month) in the Hindu calendar. On this day, devotees observe fasts, perform puja rituals and offer prayers to Lord Vishnu, seeking his blessings for a happy and prosperous life. It is believed that observing a fast on this day and offering prayers to Lord Vishnu will help one attain liberation from the cycle of birth and death. In some regions, large and colorful processions are held, and people dress up in traditional attire to participate in the celebrations.
